FREQUENTLY ASKED

No. The preview tool and the basic check are open to everyone with no signup and no card. You only pay if you decide you want the full report, or a preview download without the small check.tattoo mark on it.

No. It is a single $19 payment for one design. There is no subscription on this site at all — nothing renews and there is nothing to cancel.

Placing a design on your photo runs entirely in your browser, so it costs us nothing to give away, and the check that gives you a score and a verdict on all six dimensions is free too. The one-time payment unlocks the written reasoning behind the scores, the specific changes to make before you book, and a short artist brief, for that one design.

A short written brief — a few sentences — that you can hand or send to your tattoo artist: what the design is, the placement and size you chose, and the specific points the report flagged. It saves the awkward part of the consultation.

Your body photo never leaves your device — background removal and placement both run locally in your browser. Nothing about your body photo is uploaded to us.

Treat it as an informed second opinion, not a verdict. It reads your idea against how ink actually behaves in skin over time — lines spreading and softening, fine detail closing up, high-friction areas fading first — which is what catches the common failure patterns. But your artist knows your skin, and they get the final word.
